European Information Society Institute – EISI
Dear readers, Huťko sincerely apologize for almost four weeks-long silence but there was something really exciting he was working on. That something, as a headline already suggests, is European Information Society Institute (EISI).
EISI is a new Slovak non-profit organization devoted to assist better information society to grow. In other words, EISI will be the watch-dog for civil-liberties on the internet, small researching center for IT&IP law enthusiasts and the junction where the local community can exchange or discuss their ideas, problems, decisions or just the articles. By local Slovakia and Czech republic are meant.
EISI was born on the 9th of September and hope to be useful partner not only in Slovakia or Czech republic but later in Europe as such. The website will be launched soon (till the end of September) and will be available in two languages (English and Slovak/Czech). This in Huťko´s view, might enhance availability of IT&IP related information from Slovakia and Czech republic to much wider European audience. EISI is committed to change the status quo!
